Covid-19

In line with the latest guidance from the government, and although a gradual and phased approach, Gibson Young staff are beginning to return to the office.

We are working hard to ensure we return to the office in the safest and most practical way, safely accommodating all staff within social distancing guidelines.

Our overall approach is to follow the guidance issued by Public Health England, which can be found using the following link: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/coronavirus-covid-19-list-of-guidance.

Our business is very much people based and although useful at times, the virtual world isn’t a substitute for human contact.

We believe starting to return to our office is a step in the right direction, as the country moves through the crisis to economic recovery.

We will continue to monitor the situation and adhere to all government guidelines.  Our priority is for the health, safety and wellbeing of our clients, our team and not forgetting the nation as a whole.

We are regularly monitoring the situation and preparing for all eventualities. The well being of our clients and staff remains our priority.

Your usual contact at the firm continues to be available via their regular contact telephone number and email address.

If you have any concerns and wish to telephone us or you are not sure who would be best to speak to, please ring our main switch board on 020 7924 2919.

Please kindly note that all office appointments are by prior arrangement only.

We are publishing useful information via this page for guidance for clients and people seeking legal advice.

A number of people have asked us about Wills and lasting powers of attorney. You can read details of our current approach to these services by clicking on this link

If you are a residential or commercial landlord please see this page

The spread of Covid-19 has forced the abrupt closures of shops, restaurants, cafés and other businesses across the UK. Click through for some general advice to commercial landlords and tenants on their options.

We have published guidance for separated parents on children moving between parents' homes here.

Tragically, Government figures have indicated that domestic abuse has increased considerably during lock down. We have produced a guide of what help is available for people in an abusive relationship and the assistance that we may be able to give.
